When wildfire season hits California, preparation and peace of mind aren’t optional, they’re essential.

My mission is simple: help you understand your property, identify fire hazards, educate you on state and county defensible-space compliance mandates.

I’ll help you identify what your property needs, what hazards to remove, provide a detailed action plan to help better protect your home and your peace of mind.

Fireside Defensible Space Consultants LLC was founded in 2025 after witnessing the devastating impacts of the Palisades and Eaton fires. Like many Californians, I’ve seen firsthand how quickly wildfire conditions can change and how overwhelming it can feel when you’re trying to understand what your property needs to stay compliant and resilient.

With a bachelor’s degree in aerospace and more than a decade of experience in the aviation industry, I come from a field where safety, precision, and clear procedures are non-negotiable. When those fires struck, it became clear that the same level of structure and preparation could truly help homeowners navigate defensible space requirements with confidence.

In creating Fireside, my goal was simple:
Make defensible space easy to understand and even easier to implement at home.

I’ve dedicated countless hours to studying Public Resource Codes, CAL FIRE requirements, and Los Angeles County standards. I’ve walked properties with local enforcement officers, learned what they look for during inspections, and built a process that removes the guesswork for homeowners.

Sorting through codes, terminology, and changing regulations shouldn’t be something you have to squeeze into an already busy life. I’ve done the groundwork so you can focus on what matters most; your home, your time, and your peace of mind.

We can’t control heat or oxygen, but we can control the fuel source with defensible space!
